Turnover and Social Media Culture

Want to create a social media culture in your workplace? Social Media Han Solo believes the first step to this is to control employee turnover. It will be virtually impossible to create individual digital champions of your brand if you can’t retain employees for long periods of time. Believing in the company vision and feeling like you have a place within that company is what drives employees to establish an emotional vested interest. If there is no shared long term vision and employees feeling like their involvement is crucial in achieving that plan, then they will always have one foot out the door.

The Emperor and Darth Vader have been trying for years to create an active social media culture for the Empire on the Death Star with little success. Why? The short term mindset of all the employees is the largest contributing factor. It must be extremely difficult to create a positive employee driven culture on the Death Star with the frequent massive turnover. Although in a way…I do feel partly responsible for that. Sorry guys.
